Codswallop.
I know I'm gonna screw this up for sure. I like introducing myself, sure, but I'm bad at it. I talk too much, see? And I have a tendency to be egotistical. And long-winded.
...But at least I'm literate. That's good, right? Except for my whole conflict with commas.
And yeah, I'm good at messing things up. Ask anyone.
(Trust me: I always do. I mean, you're talking...er, reading about a girl who regularly partakes in joyous ventures into the world of Sharpie drawings. On her limbs and - um, other appendages. Like...my knees. And...my feet. And...yeah.)
Let's see. Well, I like Sharpies. They're fun, but they smell funny. And they're hard to wash off, as I know very well. Even ballpoint pen isn't that bad.
You can call me...Hersilia, for lack of a spark of originality. I'd yell out my motto ("Call me Beever and I'll give [you] a dam!") but it might be a mite inappropriate. As are many things my gargantuan circle of friends can come up with...which, looking back on that list of rules I found on the forum, is bad. And should not be associated/incorporated with/in any post on this forum. Especially the ones in character.
...
Can you tell I'm bad with introductions?
Yes - yes, you can.
I'm an avid roleplayer who used to be quite active on a forum of my own, called Syeira Academy, but it died. It died in a very abrupt fashion that left me wondering why I'm so bad as being hospitable instead of hostile. Since then I've dipped into LJ, blogging, photography, and (foremost) fanfiction. Fanfiction is one of my many loves, including my newfound religion, Wicca. I love tarot too. That explains why I printed out the Rider-Waite deck from a bunch of pictures I found on Wikipedia.
(Wikipedia's fantastical.)
I write fanfiction for the Final Fantasy XII fandom. Sadly, the game isn't as popular as Final Fantasy X, X-2, or...whatever. At least it wasn't as terrible as Final Fantasy I: we all have to start somewhere, but...yeah. My first fanfiction attempt was a bunch of moldy trash. My second, for some reason, was fantastic.
I'm a yo-yo, I swear.
I like reading Bleach. Fantastic art, that is. Full MooN O Saganutse, too.
I appreciate literacy, magick, literature, technology, aestheticism, dedication, and a number of other insignificant things.
I'm thinking of playing the Aries Goddess, but that depends on if you think I'm sane enough to do it right. Or insane, really, because according to Wikipedia, Aries is "associated with fresh vigor and new beginnings. Individuals born under this sign are said to have an enthusiastic, adventurous, aggressive, humorous, passionate, and pioneering character but one which is also prone to selfishness, boastfulness, intolerance, impulsiveness, and impatience."
(Insert more unimportant information here. Make it up as you go and ignore my weird habits. Like...well, yeah. Make it up.)
Thus, now that you have a general outline of what this particularly fickle Asian female is like, I'll take any comments or questions in my office.
My secretary, Dee Dee, will be happy to hotwire your car for all of you out there who have car keys with legs. Her rates begin at an extremely cheap two corn dogs.
EDIT: Right-o. Maybe next time I should read the Character Applications section in addition to everything else. (Which makes me feel somewhat foolish.) Seems Aries is possibly taken, but anyone mind telling me if Leo is? Because at first I'd wanted to play my own sign, Sagittarius. Of course, as always, it was taken; and the profile for Sagittarius is fantastic anyway. I doubt I could do better.
Oh, well. Leo is still a fantastic sign. And if I can't apply for a Goddess at all, that's fine too. I have plenty of trick up my sleeve...the only problem is that my dress has extremely short sleeves. Thus, it's getting sort of painful to keep it up.
EDIT II: Bah. I really need to read more. Like, truly read. Because...I have a hard time with that sort of thing. Ah, well. So my character won't be a Goddess...tough luck. =] My next plan...a young noblewoman!
(Geez. I sound like a complete dork.)
