Like any other forum on the Internet, the Zodiac Goddesses forum has a set of rules that need to be followed to keep the community safe and friendly. There are two different types of rules – the Out of Character rules, which apply for the majority of the board, and the In Character rules, which apply for the roleplaying areas of the forum.
Out Of Character Rules
2. In accordance with the first rule, please prevent yourself from swearing on the forum. It is not big, it is not clever and it is most certainly not funny, and there really isn’t any need for it. There may be characters that do swear, but please prevent yourself from swearing unnecessarily, and do not abuse the ability for characters to swear to post streams of nonsensical swearing.
3. Do not spam, flood or double post on the forum. There is an edit button for you to edit any mistakes in your post or for you to add something else to it. Please do not double post to attempt to get people to reply to your roleplay – there is no need for it. Instead, be patient and wait for a reply. There will be an acceptance of double posting once and once only, as we will allow a “mistake” or an “accident” to take place. However, having read these rules, you should know that there is an edit button.
4. If you have, for whatever reason, a problem with another member of the forum, please do not attack them in the middle of the forum. If you can, attempt to sort something out and come to an agreement through private messaging, or stay away from one another if it’s going to cause you a disagreement. If you are being hassled by a member of the forum and they will not cease, then please contact an administrator of the forum and we will sort something out.
5. Don’t forget that the administrators are the authority of the forum and what they say is the final law. If they decide on something that you alone don’t like, then please do not repeatedly pester them or harass them. Don’t backseat moderate either, whereby you act like a moderator and try to lay down the law when you aren’t one. Also, don’t plead and grovel and suck up to the staff when they’ve already decided on something – it’s really irritating.

In Character Rules
2. Opening posts and introduction posts must be at least two paragraphs (with a paragraph being at least three or four sentences) at a minimum. Ordinary posts must be at least one paragraph. Please remember that while we are looking for quality over quantity, short replies are not acceptable – they don’t leave enough for the other person to reply to. One liners are not acceptable and writer’s block will not be an acceptable excuse for anything under the accepted minimum.
3. Powerplaying (controlling another person’s character, deciding whether they get hit or not) and godmoding (being all powerful, giving out one hit kills) are not acceptable. There are characters that are more powerful than others, but remember that everybody has a weakness and can be defeated in some way.
4. Characters can, of course, have relationships, whether they’re platonic friendships or something beyond that, and what gender the people in any relationship are doesn’t matter, but keep it clean. If you want to go further than the allowed limit, take it to private messages or an instant messaging service.
5. Only you decide whether or not your character dies, but remember that they cannot be impervious to everything, and your character will die eventually. Also, in fights, remember that your character cannot always hit the other character – but remember that they cannot always evade attacks as well.
6. Keep OOC (Out of Character) chat to a minimum in the roleplaying area of the forum. It isn’t needed, unless you’re relaying information across to other people, which can be done in an out of character area or through private messaging anyway.[/ul]
Any rules that are ignored or broken will find the member that broke them submitted to the warning system.
