I’m going to be shot for not having mentioned this before, but one of the things that I forgot to include (other than a location board which I still haven’t included at the moment) was the rule or explanation about timestamping. Timestamping is a tool that removes confusion as to the chronological order of events and as to where and when your character is. It involves posting the day, the month and the year, and sometimes even the time, so that your character cannot be in two places at the same time. I’m not saying that they can’t move around (this is where the time of day comes in handy), but it’s to prevent your characters magically being in two places at the same time. Luckily, the months are the same as Earth months on Thera, so there should be no confusion there, and it is the year 423.
Anyway, a timestamp should be included at the start of your roleplay post (it only needs to be the person that creates the topic that should include a timestamp). A timestamp may look something like this:
Or it may look something like this:
People occasionally include which characters they are using and a basic summary of what they might want to happen in the post in the OOC along with the timestamp as well. However, this is not necessary if you do not want to include it. You must include a timestamp, however.
If you haven’t included a timestamp already due to the lateness of this post, then I’ll allow it to remain. If you want to edit your post and include a timestamp, then feel free too. However, I will have to add that if you are going to edit your post, I’d suggest that if the girls are only just finding out about the fact that they have telepathy and telekinesis or are only just getting used to being in the Temple, I’d say set the topic around January or February somewhere, as the Rite of Ascension takes place on New Year’s Day. However, if you’re talking about bigger powers, like controlling their own specific powers or their elements, or if they’re having suspicions about the priests, I’d set it anywhere between March and May.
Other than the aforementioned acceptions for the Goddesses, try not to set your topic anywhere after between one to two months in the past or in the future (so, aside from anybody roleplaying the early Goddesses, try not to put it any earlier than March, or any later than July).
If you have any questions about timestamping because I am quite honestly rubbish at explaining it, either send me a private message or, preferably, ask in the Help Desk about it. Thank you for reading and remember to include a timestamp in your post!
